Sainsbury's Be Good To Yourself Bolognese Pasta Bake
- Pus like sauce - Mnnnnnnn tasty goodness.
- Tasteless
- Nice consistency pasta
- No flavour in sauce
- Topped with bread crumbs; really? Hard little nodules of something. Mince tastes as though it is fluffed up with soya mince, although none is mentioned in the ingredients.
- This is a flavour free zone.
- Smell faintly of some kind of herb, but is so overwhelmed with the smell of fake cheese that you can’t make out the floral scent..
306 cals in a meal, so I guess you can’t really complain... Oh yes I can. If they left out the sugar, which can’t even be detected, then I bet all in all this is a 150 cal meal. The meal does not look like what is on the box.
Good point, or maybe two good points...
It a quid and it keeps your hands warm if you don’t bother dirtying a plate and eat from the container.
Dean thought.... that it was lacking in taste, its only redeeming qualities was the price and the pasta consistency which was good. It’s filling, but not fulfilling on taste and quality.
Verdict on our first midday taste tester : Overall flavourless boxed frozen meal. Have a cake instead.

I had one of these a few weeks ago and I agree with Dean. Although I was no longer hungry, I was not left feeling staisfied AT ALL!
